Somewhere between Stratford and Warwick, on the banks of the river Wimple sits Whimplebrige village. The area is well known for its monastic heritage, other hints to a more genteel age include the village of Monksbrige and Monk hill which rises gently a short distance to the north of a bend in the river Wimple.
Traditionally farming has been the main activity in this lush heartland but commuters and new technology are moving in and some would say spoiling it for the families who have been there for generations.
